ALBA PS5 1800MW Combined Cycle Power Plant – Block 3 is in Commercial Operation as of 20.02.2020 at 20.20hrs.
“GAMA Seminars”, which were organized during the month of May in order to support the work life of the students of Ankara University GAMA Vocational School and provide information about the market, were successfully completed. The content of the seminars, which took place every Tuesday in May at GAMA Vocational School, consisted of four different topics that could attract the attention of the students.
The ALBA PS5 1.800 MW CCPP Project which is executed by GAMA Power Systems and GE Energy, has successfully and safely achieved 10 Million Man-hours without any Loss Time Incident (LTI). All eyes on safety.
GAMA Holding Social Responsibility Committee Chairman S. Yücel Özden participated in the 7th International İstanbul Smart Grid and Cities Congress and Fair (ICSG), held at Haliç Congress Centre on 25-26 April 2019 as a member of the Executive Committee, representing GAMA. A plaque of appreciation was presented to Özden for his contributions.
The students of Ankara University GAMA Vocational School Electrical and Energy Department visited our Central Anatolia Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant in Kırıkkale on December 6th, 2018. Students were given technical information about the plant and a field trip was organized.
GAMA Power Systems Engineering and Contracting, Inc. is proud to announce that the MHI M701F4 dual fuel Gas Turbine has been placed “on bolts” on 26.10.2018 in the Rades C CCPP Project, in Tunisia. The first ignition date for the project is estimated as April 2019. With the completion of the Project it is aimed to meet Tunisia’s growing energy consumption needs.
