Kocaeli City Hospital, where GAMA Holding is among the main investors and GAMA Industry undertakes the construction with a 50% partnership, started to serve on April 3, 2023. Kocaeli City Hospital will also serve the surrounding provinces in the Marmara Region, especially Kocaeli. The opening ceremony of Kocaeli City Hospital, which is equipped with modern technology and planned to be subject to high operating standards, was held on April 15, 2023, with the participation of President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan.

Kocaeli City Hospital, which is among the top five largest city hospitals in Türkiye, has a closed area of approximately 380 thousand square meters. Kocaeli City Hospital, which consists of 6 hospitals including a General Hospital, Main Hospital, Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital, Oncology Hospital, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center and High-Security Forensic Psychiatry Hospital, has 1,218 patient beds, 218 outpatient clinics, 188 intensive care units, 63 operating rooms, and Burn Center. There is also 1 helipad in the Hospital Complex, which can be accessed quickly and easily with the roundabout and side roads built on the TEM highway.

Kocaeli City Hospital is an exemplary integrated health facility with its design features, high construction standards, medical and information technology infrastructure, especially for contemporary health facilities. More than 1000 seismic isolators were used in the hospital, where high level architectural and engineering applications were carried out, considering the earthquake risk in the region. Equipped with the most up-to-date medical devices, Kocaeli City Hospital allows patients to be treated in a comfortable and sterile environment, while offering healthcare professionals an effective and modern working environment necessary for the protection and maintenance of public health.
