THE GIL PROFILE PARK GENERATION FACILITY

200 MW Hartha Thermal Power Station Rehabilitation – Unit 1

EPC Contract for 200 MW Hartha Thermal Power Station Rehabilitation – Unit 1 Project is undertaken on a turnkey basis.

GAMA Power Systems and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) signed the contract with the Ministry of Electricity Republic of Iraq, General Directorate of Electricity & Energy Production Basrah for Rehabilitation of Hartha Unit-1 Thermal Power Station on 21.12.2017.

Hartha Thermal Power Plant Project has become an essential source of power for the Basra region, which constantly has unwanted power outages.

750 MW Boufarik Simple Cycle Power Plant

EPC Contract for Boufarik 750 MW Simple Cycle Power Plant is undertaken on a turnkey basis.

GAMA Power Systems undertakes the responsibility of supply and erection of 3 GE 9FA gas turbines, main equipments as well as HV switchyard and all balance of plant equipments and spare parts including basic & detail design of the power plant, civil works, structural, electromechanical works erection, installation of electrical, instrumentation & control systems, test and commissioning, start-up works and training of the Employer’s personnel.

With its completion the plant will generate energy around 4,000 GWh per year which will have a significant contribution to energy production in Algeria and provide electricity to more than 1 million dwellings by improving energy security in the country.

2×150 MW Khabat Combined Cycle Power Plant, Unit 1&2

POSCO E&C signed an EPC Contract with Ministry of Electricity of Northern Iraq Regional Government for a 2×150 MW thermal power plant with 2 Fuel Oil/Diesel Fuel Oil Boiler and 2 Steam Turbine & Generator sets. GAMA Power Systems signed a sub-contractor agreement with POSCO E&C. Design and Procurement of Boiler, Steam Turbine, Condenser, FGD and Feed water pump is in the POSCO E&C’s Scope. POSCO designed Main Steam and design and procurement of Boiler, Steam Turbine, Condenser, FGD, Distributed Control System (DCS) and Boiler Feed Water pumps has been commenced by POSCO E&C.
Except above mentioned systems, design and procurement of project mechanical and electrical BOP Systems, all buildings and underground works are executed by GAMA Power Systems. Additionally, GAMA Power Systems executed the construction and erection works at site.
With its completion the plant generates energy around 1,600 GWh per year which have a significant contribution to energy production in Iraq and improve energy security in the country.

1800 MW ALBA Line 6 Expansion, Power Station 5

EPC Contract for 1800 MW ALBA Line 6 Expansion, Power Station 5 Project is undertaken on a turnkey basis.

The Project scope consists of engineering, procurement and construction of three GE 9 HA.01 Gas Turbines and three GE A650 Steam Turbines with 1x1x1 multishaft configuration. GAMA Power Systems is responsible for engineering and procurement of all BOP systems and overall construction works. Commissioning scope is limited with Consortium members’ own scope of supply systems only.

With the investment of the largest and most efficient power plant in Bahrain; 1800 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant project, Employer Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (ALBA), targets to provide energy for the new “Smelter Expansion” project as well as development of the current power supply units with the new technology gas turbines providing higher efficiency. The energy to be provided to the new “Smelter Expansion” project will lead ALBA to be the largest aluminium smelter in the world.

1800 MW PP13 Combined Cycle Power Plant

Installation of Power Island ME&I and Equipment at 1800 MW Power Plant PP13 is undertaken by GAMA Power Systems as construction contractor.

Project Scope consisted of electromechanical installations, pre-commissioning of 6 ea 7FA Gas Turbine, associated Generator and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), 6ea. 2ea GE Reheat Double Flow D11 type Steam Turbine, 5ea Generator Step-Up Transformers (GSU), 2ea Air Cooled Condenser Units (each of the units consisted of 42 cells), and installation of Balance of Plant works together E&IC as well as the Process Buildings. In addition, the EPC responsibility of 380 kV GIS Unit as turnkey basis, i.e. engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of GIS was under GAMA’s scope.

The project is completed within the scope agreed with the Employer in October 2019.

450 MW Rades C Combined Cycle Power Plant

EPC Contract for 450 MW Rades C Combined Cycle Power Plant is undertaken on a turnkey basis.

GAMA Power Systems scope includes; supply of RMS (Reducing and Measuring System), Gas Compressor, Auxiliary Boiler, Liquid Fuel System, Desalination System, Water Treatment Plant, Fire Fighting and Detection System, Transformers, By-pass Stack and in addition to this scope design of all buildings and related infrastructures is under the scope of GAMA. All procurement, design, civil and electromechanical construction-assembly and commissioning works related to these equipments are to be carried out by GAMA.

The increased power demands in Tunisia, with its completion the plant will make a big contribution.

200 MW Hartha Thermal Power Station Rehabilitation – Unit 4

Hartha Unit-4 Rehabilitation project consists of rehabilitation of instruments and control system of turbine and boiler, rehabilitation of generator and electrical equipments, rehabilitation of boiler runs on 4 types of fuel, rehabilitation of turbine and  increase the output of generator to its original value 200 MW and extend the lifetime of the boiler, turbine and generator to 10 years.

GAMA Power Systems performed all mechanical erection works & rehabilitation works and installation & rehabilitation of all electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
