For the investment and construction of the Three-Level Great Istanbul Tunnel Project which is planned to be completed in 2023, GAMA Holding signed the Memorandum of Understanding with one of the biggest Chinese company of the world, namely China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd and China Investment & Construction Group Holdings Limited (CICG) in GAMA Holding headquarters on July 26, 2019.

There are 2 millions of people who travel between the Asia and Europe continents on each day in Istanbul that is one of the largest cities on earth with the population of 15 million. Along with the rapid development of the city, this figure is predicted to be 4 million in the near future.

In order to meet this demand and to provide a smooth transportation, the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Turkey aims to achieve the Three-Level Great Istanbul Tunnel project that will connect the North Marmara, TEM, D100 highways with each other in addition to the metro line to access all the roads.

The project that will connect the highways to each side and the metro line through a tunnel will make the transportation in Istanbul calm and quick, and the daily inter-continental travel will reach to 6.5 million of people.

GAMA Holding that has successfully completed Marmaray Project previously aims to take place in the investment and construction of the Three-Level Great Istanbul Tunnel project with the memorandum signed with China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd and CICG.
