GAMA Power Systems Contract and Management Director Seçil Kuyucak has successfully completed the mentoring activities in the first cohort of the “European Innovation Council Women Leadership Program” between September 2021 and March 2022. We congratulate Seçil Kuyucak, who aims to help women adapt to innovations and technological developments, gain networking skills and increase their active role in business life, and who shares her past experiences and professional efforts with her clients and helps them overcome their careers and personal challenges by participating in this pro-bono-based program.
The graduation ceremony of Ankara University GAMA Vocational School for the 2021-2022 academic year was held with the participation of Ömer Tunçata, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GAMA Holding, Hasan Namal, General Manager of GAMA Trade, and Ebru Ural Özkan, Group President of Human Resources and Corporate Development of GAMA Holding. Speaking during the ceremony, Ankara University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar “New concepts where artificial intelligence, the internet of things, big data, Industry 4.0, maybe Industry 5.0 will be discussed will be on our agenda. Therefore, I sincerely believe that our siblings who have studied at the most important brand university in Türkiye, such as Ankara University, will have very important functions in the field of health, technology, and justice.” We wish success to all our graduating students.
GAMA Human Resources and Corporate Development Group President Ebru Ural Özkan took part in the Human Resources Congress organized by KalDer Ankara Branch on 9 June 2022 with the speech titled ‘From Experience to Transformation’. In her speech, she explained how the experience economy shapes the employee experience and how the expectations of the new generation transform business life, leaders, and HR professionals.
Antalya Nevzat Saygan and Levent Saygan Anatolian High School and Karacaören Atatürk Middle School students visited our Karacaören Hydroelectric Power Plant on May 16. GAMA Enerji ”Do More With Less’ Strategic Planning Manager Zeynep Kına from the Triple Balance Sheet Kaino team and our Budget and Reporting Manager Candeğer Kars gave presentations to students about social and environmental sustainability, while our Business Manager Aydın Serbes gave information about the role of renewable energy sources in energy production during the technical trip organized in our power plant.
As GAMA Enerji, we organized a technical trip to Ankara University GAMA Vocational School, Department of Alternative Energy Resources on May 11th at our İç Anadolu CCGT in Kırıkkale. Our students attended the training they received detailed information about our ICAN CCGT accompanied by our Operation Manager İlkay Yıldız, Business Engineer Murat Laçin, OHS Specialist Sevgi Nur İşleyen, Shift Supervisor Halil İbrahim Özbey and Field Operator Murat Kaplan and made field trips.
Istrade Energy Summit, which closely follows the developments in energy trade and supply and brings together the professionals of the sector every year, took place in Istanbul between 9-10 May. At the summit, Garanti BBVA Deputy General Manager Ebru Edin, Yapı Kredi Bank Corporate Banking Deputy General Manager M.Kaan Şakul, KPMG Company Partner Orhan Turan, and Zorlu Energy CEO Ibrahim Sinan Ak took part as speakers in the “Financial Overview of Energy Markets” session moderated by GAMA Enerji General Manager Tamer Çalışır.
Süleyman Demirel University BEST Courses Community visited our Karacaören Hydroelectric Power Plant with European students on April 22. A technical trip to the power plant was organized for the students who came together in Isparta to emphasize the importance of Renewable Energy in the new world order. Rojda Ceren Şimşek, who was the head of the caravan, and our Business Manager Aydın Serbes gave a tour of our power plant and informed the students about the role of renewable energy sources in energy production.
With the “SAHIN96 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Fire Extinguishing Ammunition” project developed with the support of Sinan Dülger, Production and Design Manager of GAMA Ticaret ve Turizm A.Ş., we hosted Osmaniye Şehit Major Adil Karagöz Anatolian High School students Cihanay Kelkoca and Oğulcan Doğan, who were the first in Türkiye at the high school level in the TEKNOFEST 2021 “Technology for the Benefit of Humanity” competition, in our GAMA Headquarters in December 2021. In our conversation moderated by Sinan Dülger and Emre Sümer, our GAMA Enerji Corporate Communications and Marketing Manager, the students explained the SAHIN96 project in detail and answered the questions that GAMA employees were curious about. As GAMA, we are happy to contribute to this project developed to protect our future and nature, we congratulate students for their work and wish them continued success.
