Algeria National Day

GAMA Power Systems, Projects Director Osman Eken attended the ‘November 1 Algerian National Day’ reception organized by the Algerian Embassy in Ankara on November 4, 2019. Algeria’s Ambassador to Algeria Mouloud Hamai hosted the reception, which was also attended by companies operating in Algeria.

Hamai, indicating that the relationship between Turkey and Algeria continued to grow every year, thanked the Turkish companies working in Algeria for their supports.

Future of Business Life

GAMA Holding Human Resources Coordinator Ebru Ural Ozkan hosted the “Leaders Meeting” event organized by KalDer Ankara Branch on November 14, 2019 at GAMA. Young KalDer in this event, which was attended by Turkish Quality Foundation volunteers and students from various universities, discussed the future of business life and preparation for one’s career journey.

GAMA ranked among the largest contracting companies in the world

Due to the success on the ENR 2019 World’s Largest 250 International Contractors List, which GAMA ranked 118th, GAMA was presented with an award on December 26, 2019 by the Turkey Contractors Association (TMB). GAMA Holding Vice Chairman Hakan Özman received our award from Vice President Fuat Oktay. We are proud to receive the award, and we thank the entire GAMA family for their efforts and work.

Hartha Unit-1 Thermal Power Station Rehabilitation

Thermal Power Station Rehabilitation as GAMA Power Systems, the construction works of 200MW Hartha Unit-1 Thermal Power Station Rehabilitation started on October 1, 2019. The contract was signed on November 19, 2017 as GAMA Power Systems and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems with the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity and the Basra General Directorate of Electricity & Power Generation. Mobilization works of the project have been completed and electromechanical activities are continuing rapidly with more than 300 employees. The progress of the project has reached 19.37%, and is planned to be completed in November 2020.

The First LNG Facility in The Arctic Region

GAMA Industry is proud to complete the construction of the Yamal LNG Production Plant, which is the first LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) facility in the Arctic Region. We congratulate our GAMA Industry team, who have participated in the completion of this successful project. This unique project experience has already taken its own special position in our project portfolio, among more than 400 projects that we have accomplished successfully in the past.

ALBA CCPP Project has been selected as “National Winner”

We are pleased to announce that 1800 MW ALBA Potline 6 Expansion, Power Station-5 Combined Cycle Power Plant, which has been recently completed by GAMA Power Systems and General Electric consortium, has been selected as “National Winner” for “the Power Generation Project of the Year” category at the MEED Projects Awards 2020. Congratulations to GAMA Power Systems ALBA team for such an amazing achievement!

We Have Achieved Our Goal!

For a sustainable future the importance of energy efficiency is increasing day by day in our world. Since 2013, the ISO 50001 Energy Management System has been implemented in our GAMA headquarters in order to increase energy efficiency. As a result of our efforts we achieved our 2019 goals by reducing electricity consumption by % 14,9 and natural gas consumption by %4 compared to the previous year. We thank the GAMA family for their support and sensitivity on this matter.
