Ankara University GAMA Vocational School, Alternative Energy Resources Technology Program students, with the contribution of the advisors Kenan Özel, using the professional internship experience they gained at GAMA Enerji Inc.’s power plants, they realized the 1 kW Horizontal Wind Turbine Project.
“GAMA Seminars”, which were organized during the month of May in order to support the work life of the students of Ankara University GAMA Vocational School and provide information about the market, were successfully completed. The content of the seminars, which took place every Tuesday in May at GAMA Vocational School, consisted of four different topics that could attract the attention of the students.

GAMA Holding Social Responsibility Committee Chairman S. Yücel Özden participated in the 7th International İstanbul Smart Grid and Cities Congress and Fair (ICSG), held at Haliç Congress Centre on 25-26 April 2019 as a member of the Executive Committee, representing GAMA. GAMA Legal Consultant Bora Kaya attended the “Commercial Transaction of the Year in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)” award ceremony in Budapest on March 28, 2019 as a member of the Final Election Committee consisting of 13 people, and has presented the award to the winning law firm with our lawyer Esra Berktas. Bora Kaya is the only internal legal counsel and sole Turkish lawyer in this organization who has served on the Final Selection Committee.
GAMA Energy General Manager Tamer Çalışır was a speaker at the 13th “Academy of Engineering and Management (MÜYAK)” organized by the Anadolu University Industrial and Productivity Club, held on March 2-3, 2019, at the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Culture and Arts and Congress Center. Çalışır, at the event attended from various cities and universities in Turkey, made a presentation on “Digitalization in Energy’, and talked about the future of the energy sector and business life.
The construction of the Yamal LNG plant in the Arctic Region, the joint venture REGA JV, began in October 2015 under extraordinary circumstances. In 2019, our obligations regarding the production of Yamal LNG CW3P package have been completed in a timely, complete and high quality manner in order to meet the expectations of the employer and the plant is working with full capacity. As of the end of April 2019, with the completion of the demobilization of the construction site and the completion of other obligations in the coming months is expected to receive the “Work Completion” certificate.
GAMA Power Systems, which took part in the construction of the 450 MW Rades C Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, successfully completed the horizontal drilling and pipe work of the first tunnel line water intake from sea structure in April, 2019.
