2×660 MW Iskenderun Sugozu Coal Fired Power Plant

The project consists of turn-key construction of two units of imported coal fired steam boilers and turbine generator sets with a total capacity of 1320 MW electric power (2×660 MW) including coal handling system, flue gas desulphurization plant, sea water cooling handling system, coal unloading jetty, stack and other auxiliary units.

GAMA – Tekfen Joint Venture was responsible for the construction of the plant, including the coal unloading jetty.

38 MW Ayen Combined Cycle Power Plant

GAMA Power Systems performed turnkey design, supply and construction of a natural gas fired combined cycle power plant, comprising GE (USA) LM2500 PY+DLE double shaft aeroderative gas turbine, Thermodyn (France) steam turbine and Aalborg Engineering (Denmark) HRSG (generating 30 tons/hr of high pressure and 7 tons/hr of low pressure steam), including all auxiliary components.

Kocaeli Integrated Health Campus Project

The Kocaeli Integrated Health Campus Project, which was tendered under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey, was undertaken by Kocaeli Hospital Investment and Healthcare Services Inc. The EPC contract was signed between Kocaeli Hospital Investment and Healthcare Services Inc. (SPV) and GAMA-Türkerler General Partnership for the Construction Works and Procurement of Products and Services.

Kocaeli City Hospital, which was undertaken by GAMA Industry with a 50% partnership, started providing services on April 3, 2023. Equipped with modern technology and planned according to high operational standards, Kocaeli City Hospital serves not only Kocaeli but also surrounding provinces in the Marmara Region.

Ranked among the top five largest city hospitals in Turkey, Kocaeli City Hospital has approximately 380,000 square meters of indoor space. The hospital complex consists of six hospitals: General Hospital, Main Hospital, Women and Children’s Hospital, Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital, Oncology Hospital, and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center. It also includes a High Security Forensic Psychiatry Hospital, 1,218 patient beds, 218 polyclinic rooms, 188 intensive care units, 63 operating rooms, and a Burn Center. The hospital complex is easily accessible through the rotary junction and side roads built on the TEM motorway, and it also features a helipad.

Kocaeli City Hospital is an exemplary integrated health facility on an international scale, particularly due to its design features for modern healthcare facilities, high construction standards, medical and information technology infrastructure. The hospital was constructed using high-level architecture and engineering practices, with more than 1,000 seismic isolators installed considering the earthquake risk in the region. 853 MW Ic Anadolu Combined Cycle Power Plant

Construction of a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in Kırıkkale, Turkey with a total power output of 853 MW is realized for İç Anadolu Doğalgaz Elektrik Üretim ve Ticaret A.Ş. is implemented on a turnkey basis.

GE STAG 209 9FB MS, is used in the power plant which is designed for 30 years lifespan. GAMA Power Systems and GE Energy as consortium undertakes the responsibility of supply and erection of 2 GE 9FB gas turbines, 1 GE steam turbines, 2 Doosan HRSG’s, Air Cooled Condenser, 380 kV HV switchyard as well as all balance of plant equipment under an EPC contract. Within this scope, basic & detail design of the power plant, civil works, structural, electro mechanical works, erection, installation of electrical, instrumentation & control systems, test and commissioning, start-up works and training of the Employer’s personnel performed in the course of project.

İç Anadolu Combined Cycle Power Plant generates about 6,300 GWh Energy which corresponds 2.5% of total national Energy consumption and almost 50% of Ankara’s energy consumption.

Marmaray Project, Bosphorus Railway Crossing Tunnel Construction

General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments of Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, awarded the contract for the construction of the 1st phase of Marmaray Project, Railway Bosphorus Tube Crossing, Tunnels and Stations to Taisei-GAMA-Nurol Joint Venture (TGN). GAMA has a share of 12.5% within the Joint Venture.
